Book reviews

• Review (2017-3-6) of the Dutch book 'Oekraine, het land dat maar niet wil lukken' (which can be translated approximately as "Ukraine, the country that doesn't seem to get to succeed"). The style is baselessly pedantic, and altogether inane. The voyeuristic style made me think back to a book by Alice Munro that I partially read, several years earlier, and this was a good opportunity to put it on my site too:
• Review (2013-12-10) of part of the book "Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage" by Alice Munro, ah, yes, this lady, who writes inane voyeuristic stories, received the Nobel prize for literature. After reading a part of this book it was clear to me that that prize has no value, which was confirmed again with the award of that prize in 2017 to a songwriter...
