Schiphol: Update 2018-7-14: [ EN, with references in NL ]:
Below is my email to and about NOS.nl about their manipulative BS that people should complain less about aircraft noise around Schiphol. In their article https://nos.nl/artikel/2218649-hoe-kan-schiphol-toch-verder-groeien-minder-zeuren-is-een-optie.html (in Dutch) they quoted TU Delft who checked complaints and that in NL people complain much more. Aha, that is what P.Stallen, the fake-scientist paid for by air industry lobby club PNL, already said ca. 2004, actually he parrotted that from propaganda club PNL, and it's not true that there is no reason for that. I already determined early 2005 that external factors, which can include anti-social behaviour of the people in charge of the airport, make a huge difference. In the cases that I had data for, the large changes that I saw were related to the demise of an Australian airline, where suddenly complaints dropped to a factor of 1/10, and in Scottsdale Arizona, where complaints after the Twin towers 2001, increased to 10x. Nothing had changed in noise! The anti-social behaviour of psychopath Gerlach "the liar" Cerfontaine (for about 10 years director of Schiphol, always in the news with his manipulative bullshit stories), certainly helped keep the complaints high in NL! Here is my original page on this subject, the earliest version of this page that I have backed up is from early 2005, this version on my site is from 2009, which has only minor changes compared to 2005 (and no changes regarding this analysis, which cost me whole hour of work, an hour to research the assumptions, that fake scientists such as P.Stallen and those 'researchers' at TU Delft apparently couldn't spend):

The antisocial and manipulative suggestion 'whine less' does show what we get from the NOS, as always, not much, you manipulate everywhere, and help to ruin the Netherlands. W.Scholten
