WHS: Bicycle tours in Ukraine, places to stay, equipment

I started my company in Lviv but I think the better place for tours is more in the central part of Ukraine. So later I chose a place close to Kremenchuk as a base this this part of my plans. There you can stay and make day trips, then make longer trips. For those doing long tours I sell equipment, renting a bicycle will be an option, you can stay in a small house, take a sauna, and various home cooked Ukrainian food can be provided. Whatever you prefer, a base and do it yourself or getting guides and help to make the trip easy if you don't speak Ukrainian/Russian.

From Kremenchuk you can come to me with a 20 minute bus ride, then a 22 minute walk to my place which is near a forest (10 m away :) ). If you are lucky you will see the AFU shoot at Russian drones! :)

From there you can make trips to:

• Oleksandria (80 km), from there to Krivih rig, Odessa, Nikolayev.
• Omelnik (day trip)
• Gradizk (day trip)
• Poltava (150 km), Kharkiv.
• Chigirin (about 100 km), Cherkassy, Smila.
• more to come.

Other options are taking a train to more distant places, such as:

• Lviv: take your bike on the train or send it via Nova poshta to Lviv, stay there a few days, then make a long trip from Lviv to Lutsk, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Zvyagel (Novograd volynsky), Kiev, Zolotonosha, Kremenchuk.
• The reverse: From Kremenchuk to Zolotonisha (180 km), then to Kiev (150 km), to Zvyagel, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Lutsk, Lviv (about 1000 km), and from there you could return or make a longer trip to Ivano Frankivsk and even to the area more to the south with very bad roads:

Excursions with locals to say museums are also planned in various cities.
