Power use: Starts of very high at more than 300mA, it drops to the standard 100mA only after 56 seconds, and after several minutes it stabilizes to about 66mA.
I ran it at 3V where it takes 22 mA, and is still as bright as any of the other good taillamps, so it could be made to run at a far lower current at 6V (11 mA, similar to what the Lumiring and Line plus use). 6 times the power (compared to 11mA) does not mean you experience it as 6 times as bright as other taillamps, but it is very bright.
In construction quite good, with stainless steel bolts, fairly good optics.
Very good visibility, it's too bright, power use is high compared to the best taillamps.
